Social Networking in Coffee Shops? Since when?
I understand both sides of the story. But where the fuck are there actually “cyber cafes”? Also, what about those who don’t have internet at home and work when the library is closed? What about those who are paying customers who are alone and aren’t really comfortable talking to strangers who are already engaged in conversation. If said coffee shops want to encourage conversations, I would suggest arranging seating so that everyone can face one another and sing folk songs together. Really? Is this what our coffee drinkers want?
